What characters can I use in the domain name?
In most domain zones only characters of Roman alphabet, numbers and hyphen ‘-’ are allowed. It’s not permitted to use space, underscore or special characters such as exclamation mark, comma, number sign (#) or asterisk (*). Typically, names can be pretty long and consist of up to 63 characters. For domain zones supporting IDN standard (Internationalized Domain Names), you can use local language alphabets, i.e non-Roman characters. Such domains have an IDN mark in our list.
