My website is not displayed properly after an SSL certificate was installed

Sometimes a message is shown: “The page is trying to download scripts from not trusted sources”.

In most cases, the problem is that some scripts of your website or the database contain direct links to ‘http://’, while the SSL-certificate works with use of the ‘https’ protocol (https://).

You need to amend all such links. We recommend you to contact your website developers to do this. You can also check website configuration files. Sometimes these contain an explicit protocol specification for website operation. If there is an ‘http://’ in these settings, you need to change that to ‘https://’ as well.
